A practical first step

Start with the date,
not a sales pitch.

Every Dublin operator asks the same first four questions: when is it, where is it, how long do you want the booth running, and which kind of booth do you mean. Answer them once here and the replies you get back can be about your night instead of a discovery call.

Simple by design

From a date to a real conversation.

01

Send the event brief

Date, venue area, booth type and how long you want it running. It takes a couple of minutes.

02

We review the request

We check the brief is complete enough for an operator to price. This is not an availability check.

03

Operators reply to you

With your permission, up to three independent operators may contact you about the date, the package and the total price.

Tell us about the event.

The date and the venue area decide almost everything, so start there. Nothing here is a booking, and no date is held until an operator confirms it with you.

The comparable package

What a standard booth usually covers.

Quotes only become comparable when everyone is describing the same evening. This is the two-hour attended package most Dublin operators publish—use it as the baseline you ask each of them to price.

Two hours of live operation

The most commonly advertised Dublin package. Three hours and full-day options are usually priced separately.

Delivery, setup and removal

Ask whether travel to your venue is included or charged on top.

An attendant for the running time

Someone present to keep the booth working and the queue moving.

Also worth pinning down

  • A defined print entitlement. Confirm whether prints are unlimited, duplicated for guests, or capped.
  • Props and one backdrop. Extra or custom backdrops are usually a separate line.
  • A personalised print template. Names, date or event branding on the strip.
  • A digital gallery after the event. Check how long it stays online and who can open it.
Prices reviewed August 2026.

Advertised Dublin packages generally started somewhere between €300 and €700 for two to three attended hours, depending on what was included. Those are other companies’ published prices, not ours and not a quote. Ask any operator for a written total that includes VAT and unavoidable charges before you pay a deposit.

Before you commit

The details that move the price.

What changes the number

  • Distance, parking and access. Travel outside the operator’s usual area, paid parking, stairs or a long load-in can all be charged.
  • When the booth runs. Late finishes, Friday and Saturday dates and December often cost more than a midweek afternoon.
  • What is printed. Print volume, duplicate strips and a guest album change the cost of materials and staffing.
  • Booth type. A 360 video booth or selfie mirror is different equipment from a printed booth and is priced differently.
  • VAT and invoicing. Ask for the total including VAT and any unavoidable charges before you pay a deposit.

What the venue needs to allow

  • Venue permission. Confirm with the venue that a booth is allowed, and ask what documents they need from the operator.
  • Level space and power. Booths need a flat area clear of guest traffic and a standard socket nearby. Ask the operator for the exact footprint.
  • Load-in and parking. Equipment arrives on trolleys. Steps, lifts, one-way systems and parking all affect setup time.
  • Cover if you are outdoors. Most booths are built for indoor use. Outdoor setups need explicit agreement and weather cover.

Printed booth, mirror or 360?

A printed photo booth is the product most Dublin packages are built around, and it is the easiest to compare like for like. A selfie mirror and a 360 video booth are different equipment with a different guest experience and different pricing, so do not assume a printed-booth price carries across. If you are not sure which you want, choose “Not sure yet” on the form and say what kind of evening you are picturing.

Common questions

Straight answers.

How much does photo booth hire cost in Dublin?

We reviewed publicly advertised Dublin packages in August 2026. Two- and three-hour attended packages were generally advertised from around €300 to €700, with premium, mirror and 360 products quoted higher. Those are other companies’ published prices, shown here for context only. They are not our prices, not a quote, and not a promise that any operator will offer them for your date.

Do you supply the booth yourselves?

No. We do not own booths, employ attendants or run events. We collect a clear event brief and, with your permission, pass it to independent operators who do.

Can you confirm my date is available?

No. Sending the form does not hold a date, confirm availability or create a booking. Only an operator can confirm your date, and only in writing with you.

Which areas does this cover?

Dublin city and county. If your venue is outside Dublin, say so in the notes—we will tell you if we cannot help rather than passing the enquiry on regardless.

How far ahead should I enquire?

Saturdays, bank-holiday weekends and December fill earliest. Enquiring sooner widens the choice of operators, but nothing is reserved until an operator confirms with you.

Who is responsible for the photos?

The operator running the booth handles the images and any online gallery. Ask them who can access the gallery, how long it is kept and how to have pictures removed. We never receive your event photos, and you should not send guest details or images with an enquiry.

What happens to the details I send?

Your name, phone number and event brief may be shared with up to three potentially suitable independent operators, only after you tick the consent box. You can ask us to stop further sharing at any time.

What we are—and what we’re not

Independent by design.

Attic is a human-assistant enquiry service for real-world jobs in Dublin. This page is the starting point for event photo-booth hire.

We are not a photo-booth operator. We do not own equipment, employ attendants, set operator prices, confirm availability, hold dates, take payment or form part of any booking you later agree. Our role is to turn your event into one clear brief and, with your permission, put it in front of independent operators.
