Information

Terms of service.

What you can expect from GetAtticQuotes.com, and what a provider contact does not mean.

1. What Attic provides

Attic is an independent enquiry and decision-support service. You can submit a free, non-binding brief about a service. We may review it and, only where you have given the stated consent, introduce it to up to three potentially suitable independent providers.

2. What Attic does not provide

Attic is not the contractor, builder, gardener, photo-booth operator or other service provider. We do not carry out the work, set a provider’s price, confirm availability, hold a date, take payment, inspect a property, give professional advice or guarantee an outcome. We do not claim that a provider is endorsed, insured, qualified or available unless a page expressly says what was checked and when.

3. Your contract is with the provider

A provider may contact you directly. Any quote, booking, deposit, service contract, cancellation term, warranty or complaint about the underlying work is between you and that provider. Check the scope, total price, VAT and any unavoidable charges, credentials, insurance, timing and written terms before agreeing to work or paying anything. Consumer rights that apply to that contract are not removed by these terms.

4. Your responsibilities

Give information that is accurate, current and yours to share. Do not upload confidential documents, payment details, medical information, children’s images or other sensitive material unless the form specifically asks for it. Do not misuse the site, impersonate someone, submit repeated false enquiries, probe its security or use another person’s details without permission.

5. Images and messages

You keep ownership of material you submit. You give Attic the limited permission needed to store, review and share it for the enquiry purpose you selected. You confirm that you have the right to provide it and that doing so does not breach another person’s privacy or rights.

6. Availability and site changes

The site and any provider introduction may be delayed, unavailable, declined or stopped. We may reject spam, incomplete, unsafe or out-of-scope enquiries and may change or remove a service. We will not describe a submitted form as a quote, booking or confirmed lead.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, Attic is responsible only for the independent enquiry service it actually provides, not for a provider’s work, advice, conduct, price, availability, contract or failure to respond.

8. Privacy and contact

Our privacy and cookies notice explains how information is handled. To correct a submission, stop further sharing, report a provider issue or ask a question, use the contact page.

9. Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by Irish law, with the courts of Ireland having jurisdiction, while preserving any mandatory rights or protections available to you where you live.
